Served on board of directors of the Mental Health Center of North Iowa, the Second Judicial District Department of Correctional Services, Floyd County Agricultural Development Authority, and Charles City Area Development Corporation. Served as past chair of Northern Prairie Regional Economic Development Corporation, Iowa's Center for Agricultural Safety and Health Advisory Committee, and Floyd County Water Quality Coordinating Committee. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Wife Denise; two sons. Serving third term in House.
