Past president of County Farm Bureau, past president of Afton Farmers Co-op Board, and past County Fair Livestock Superintendent. Member of Elston United Methodist Church, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Cattlemen's Association, Sheriff's Posse, and Extension Council. Two sons, one daughter. Serving third term in House.
