Born May 23, 1808, in Somerset Co., Penn. He married Elizabeth Hazlett Jan. 21, 1836, at Petersburg, Penn. He came to this county in 1855; own 122 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre. Mr. Campbell represented this county in the Legislature from 1858 to 1860.
