Born Nov. 24, 1946,in Keokuk, son of Howard A. and Margaret R. Clark. Graduated Keokuk High School, 1965. B.A., Drury College, 1969, history and political science. Stockbroker with R.G. Dickinson and Company. Member of First Congregational Church, Kiwanis Club, Keokuk Chamber of Commerce, and Iowa Farm Bureau. Active many years in Experiment in International Living. Married Colette Detwiler, Springfield, Mo., 1972. One daughter, Sarah. Delegate to the 1976 Republican National Convention. Assistant majority floor leader, 68th General Assembly. Current chairman of Cities Committee. Sixth term.
