Born Dec. 23, 1935, in Des Moines, son of Max O. and A. Evelyn Readinger. Graduated Roosevelt High School, 1954. U.S. Army, 1954-57. Graduated Drake University, 1962, Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Member: St. John's Lutheran Church, Drake National "D" Club, Urbandale Jaycees, Urbandale Lions Club, Urbandale Boosters Club, and Des Moines Chapter of Iowa League of Women Voters. Two terms in Iowa House. Second term in Iowa Senate.
