Korean War 3 years, member 511th Airborne Regimental Combat Team. Insurance business since 1956. Married Diane Graf of Spencer 1955. Three sons and four daughters. Mayor North English, member St. Joseph Catholic Church, Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa and Iowa County, Rotary President. First term.
