B.S., Drake University, 1962. Member: St. John's Lutheran Church, Y.M.C.A., Drake National "D" Club, Urbandale Jaycees, Urbandale Lions Club, Urbandale Boosters Club, Des Moines Chapter of Iowa League of Women Voters. Two terms in Iowa House. First term in Senate.
