Northwestern University 1951. M.A. University of Iowa 1971. Married Richard Lloyd-Jones 1951. One daughter and three sons. President, League of Women Voters of Iowa, 1971-1975; Member, Iowa 2000 state planning committee, 1972-1974; Chair, Iowa Committee for International Women's Year, 1977; Member, Governor's task force on Governmental Ethics, 1977. Member, Trinity Episcopal Church, Business and Professional Women, Civil Liberties Union, Common Cause, League of Women Voters, National Organization for Women, The Nature Conservancy, United Nations Association, Women's Equity Action League, and Women's Political Caucus. First term.
