Montrose 43rd Senatorial District Democrat Born March 9, 1944, Fort Madison, son of Ralph and Selma Junkins. Graduated Central Lee Community High School in Argyle, 1962. Married Linda Decker, 1963. Daughters: Kristina, Kara. Owns and operates farm. Member Montrose Presbyterian Church, Montrose Chamber of Commerce, Lee County Development Committee, Montrose Jaycees, Lions Club, Eagles, Elks, and Joppa Lodge 136. On Advisory Board of Lee County Youth Services, Inc., and Member of Area 16 Emergency Medical Services Planning Committee. Owns and operates ambulance service for Lee County. Elected Minority Leader. Serving second term.
