B.A. degree Drake University 1975, magna cum laude. Estimated graduation from Drake Law School May 1979. Experience as a junior high instructor, construction worker, and farmer. Member Moulton United Methodist Church and Phi Beta Kappa. Active in 4-H and FFA as a youth, receiving FFA Iowa Farmer degree 1972. Single. First term.
