Member: United Church of Christ, Chairman of UCC Council, Cedar County Outstanding Young Farmer in 1957, Master Swine Producer 1965, 4-H Leader 15 years and made an Honorary Member, director Clarence Savings Bank, Lions Club, Chairman Lean Line Feeder Pig Corp., Community Ambulance Association, County Farm Bureau, County Fair Board, County Extension Service, County Cattleman's Association, Swine Association. First term.
