Children, Barbara J., Steven K., and David M. Served in Army Corps of Engineers during Korean Conflict, 17 months overseas. Self-employed farmer since 1954. Served as precinct-committeeman and county chairman, 4-H leader 10 years. Member American Legion, S.A.R., Floyd Co. and National Historical Societies, Common Cause. Methodist. Fourth term.
