Graduate studies in Community and Regional Planning at North Dakota State University, 1972. Fort Dodge Realtor and former District Manager for Congressman Berkley Bedell. Campaign organizer for Bedell, 1972-78. Executive Director Pipestone Chamber of Commerce, 1973. Member of the Iowa Democratic State Central Committee, 6th Congressional District. Member of the United Church of Christ, Kiwanis, Elks and Sons of Norway. First term.
