Two years in United States Army and two years in Iowa National Guard. Engineer for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company where employed for 24 years. Marion City Councilman 8 years. Married Madelyne Celania of Ottumwa 1958. Children: Todd, Tracy, Trisha. Member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church of Marion and Marion Democratic Club. Past member of Communication Workers of America (Local 7101) and past Chairman Marion Planning and Zoning Commission. First term.
