Assistant city attorney, city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 1972-1975. Served on Senate Committees of: Cities, Labor and Industrial Relations, State Government, and ranking member of Judiciary Committee. Married Judith Whetstine of Wilton, Iowa, 1971. First term.
