Attended Creighton University, B.A. Clarke College, Dubuque, 1966. Graduate work, Loras College, UNI. Secondary school teacher in government, history, English. Formerly on staff at Wartburg College. Member national committee of the Women's Political Caucus. Co-founder Black Hawk County Women's Political Caucus. Member League of Women Voters, AAUW, Distinguished Service Award from Future Business Leaders of America, 1974, Friend of Education Award, Cedar Falls Education Association, 1974. Outstanding Young Woman in America Award for Iowa, 1973. Member Energy Com., National Conference of State Legislatures. Third term.
