Graduate of Osceola High School, University of Northern Iowa, J.D., University of Iowa College of Law. U.S. Army, 1966-1968, one year, Vietnam. Elected Clarke County attorney 1968, re-elected 1970, 1972. Protestant. Married Natalie J. Green, Falls Church, Virginia, 1968. Children: Adam Todd, Angela Ruth. Former member Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, city attorney, served as Chairman Fifth District Drug Abuse Committee Iowa Bar Association. Former committeeman, finance chairman and chairman Clarke County Republican Central Committee. Past president and secretary Osceola Jaycees; service officer Osceola American Legion. Member Osceola Lions Club, Eagles, Clarke County Farm Bureau. Served in 65th General Assembly.
