Davenport District 81 Democrat Born May 6, 1943, son of Daniel I. and Jeannette M. Heaney Cusack, in Davenport. Attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Assumption High School of Davenport 1961. Attended Georgetown University. B.A. from St. Ambrose College Davenport 1965 and M.A. from University of Iowa 1967. Taught at Briar Cliff College, Sioux City, and at Davenport's Marycrest College. Community organizer for Central Neighborhood Corporation of Davenport and director League of Women Voters Edcuation Fund. Presently with Cusack and Associates, Real Estate and Insurance, Davenport. Not married. Member American Civil Liberties Union, American Historical Society, and American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies. Served 3 years as Davenport City Councilman. First term Iowa House.
