Council Bluffs District 100 Republican Born in Omaha, Neb., Nov. 7, 1930, son of George A. and Irene Knoke. Educated in the Omaha Public Schools and graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1948. Attended United States Military Academy. B.A., 1952, and J.D. with distinction, 1958, State University of Iowa. Served as Assistant Pottawattamie County Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, State of Iowa, and Pottawattamie County Attorney. Served as Lieutenant Army Infantry during Korean conflict. Second term.
