Children: Candace, Michael, Mary, Theresa, Patrick, Dianna, Maureen, Edward. Iowa Highway Patrolman, Council Bluffs, Red Oak, Glenwood (1950-54); Crocker Claims, Founder Systems of Security, private detective agency. Member of Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus; Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce; former advisor National Police Officer Assn. of America; past chairman Respect for Law Committee, Dubuque Optimists Club. Assistant Minority Leader. One term in Iowa House. Second term in Iowa Senate.
