Married (wife: Barbara), one son, Brad, two daughters, Wendy and Debbie. Des Moines attorney and partner in the firm of Herrick, Langdon, Belin, and Harris. Iowa's reporter to American Bar Association's municipal home rule subcommittee. Member National Organization on legal Problems of Education. Served as Organization Chairman Polk County Republican Central Committee, 1968 to 1972. An elder of Central Presbyterian Church, Acanthus Lodge and Sertoma Club of Des Moines. First term in Iowa House.
