Four years United States Air Force Security Service as Chinese linguist and airborne intelligence analyst. Studied at University of Nebraska at Omaha, and at University of Iowa in Iowa City. On leave of absence from Cedar Rapids Engineering. Member St. Paul's Lutheran Church, AMVETS, and International Assn. Machinist and Aerospace Workers. First term.
