"Man of the Year" 1967. Two years graduate study ISU, Political Science. Chairman, Peace Coalition, McCarthy Campaign. Worked as newspaper reporter, gubernatorial campaign manager, and press secretary. Executive director, Quint-Cities Drug Abuse Council 1970-72. "Outstanding Young Man of America, 1972." Board of directors, Youth Services Bureau, Scott County Crime Commission, QC-ACLU. Community Organizing work in Bail Reform and Health Care. First term.
