Received B.A. from Notre Dame 1961 and a J.D. from University of Iowa 1968. Married Linda Weiss 1965 in Mason City. Member of the Roman Catholic Church, Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, Quarterback Club, Knights of Columbus, Rotary. Basketball coach and athletic director Newman High School, Mason City, 1962-1965. One of 1971's Outstanding Young Men of America. Member law firm of Kennedy & Kennedy since 1968. Second term.
