Received B.S. in education, Dana College, married to Maree Eike Lawson. Children: Bruce, Cheryl, Mark. Stepchildren: Kimberly and Kay. Insurance executive. President Hansen & Hansen, Inc., Insurance & Real Estate 1955. Chairman Board Capital Security Corp. Vice-President Business Industrial Corporation. Former vice-president Cedar Falls Community School Board. Member Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Association of Independent Insurance Agents, Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors, Beaver Hills Country Club, Elks, and Rotary. In 1962 received Distinguished Service Award and in 1965 selected to appear in "Outstanding Young Men of America." Second term.
