Graduate International Graduate School, University of Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden, 1955. Foreign affairs assistant to U.S. Representative Frances P. Bolton, 1956-1961. LL.B. degree George Washington University Law School, Washington, D.C, 1960. Attorney, member Bladensburg Christian Church, Iowa and American Bar Associations, author of verse selections "Montage." Elected to House of Representatives in 1964, Senate in 1966, and re-elected in 1970.
