Graduate Pawnee City High, Pawnee, Neb.; Tarkio College, Tarkio, Mo., with a bachelor of theology degree from Omaha Presbyterian Seminary and a law degree from the St. Paul College of Law, St. Paul, Minn. Married and has one son. Serving first term in senate.
