Attended Plymouth County grade school; St. Joseph High School, Le Mars, 1944; Trinity College, Sioux City, 1944-1947; Loras College, Dubuque, 1947-1948. B.A. degree. Married Dorothy Sell in Council Bluffs, 1952. Children are Candance, 16; Michael, 15; Mary, 14; Theresa, 13; Patrick, 11; Dianna, 8; Maurreen, 6; Edward, 2. Iowa Highway Patrolman, Council Bluffs, Red Oak, Glenwood (1950-1954); Crocker Claims, Council Bluffs and Dubuque (1954-1967); formed own company 1967 now known as Kennedy & Co. President and owner. Insurance claim service and private detective agency. Member Catholic church; Knights of Columbus; Forestors; Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce; Optimists Int.; 1752 Club of Iowa; Iowa Casualty and Surety Claim Men's Assn.; International Police Congress.
