University of South Dakota, 1937; one year law school Univ. of S.D. Married Charlotte O. Ritland and has four children, Karen, Charlene, Paul, and Mark. Member of the Church Council of the Morningside Lutheran Church, Life Underwriters Assn. and American Society of Public Administration, the Farm Bureau, the Board of the Mid-Sioux Corporation of the O.E.O., Hi 12, Lions, Masons, Independent Insurance Agents Assn., Board of Regents Augustana College, Sioux Falls, S.D., Board of Siouxland Opportunity Corporation., Head of Business Training Dept. Waldorf College, 1935-43. Presently in real estate investment and insurance business. Listed in Who's Who of the Midwest. Was State Representative from Woodbury County 1961-65, was reelected 1966 and 1968.
