Received a B.S. in education from Dana College. Children are Bruce, 13; Cheryl, 11; Mark, 8. Insurance executive. President Hansen & Hansen, Inc., Insurance & Real Estate 1955. Chairman of Board Capital Security Corp. Vice-president Business Industrial Corporation. Former vice-president of Cedar Falls Community School Board. Member of the Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Association of Independent Insurance Agents, Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors, Beaver Hills Country Club, Elks, and Rotary. In 1962 received Distinguished Service Award and in 1965 selected to appear in that year's edition of "Outstanding Young Men of America." Serving first term.
