McClelland Pottawattamie County Republican Born April 14, 1933, near McClelland, Iowa, son of Emil and Emma Schroeder. Graduated from Treynor High School 1952; Korean Veteran 1953 to 1955. Completed three-year agriculture and recordkeeping course under GI Bill. A member Farm Bureau, Treynor Cattle Feeders, Inc., National Livestock Feeders Association, American Legion; former township trustee. Married Donna Jean Novotny 1960. Has five daughters Vicki, Rita, Jean, Nancy and Sandra. Member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, Council Bluffs. Elected to second term.
