Attended St. Johns College, Winfield, Kansas and took a business course through American School, Chicago. Married Laurene Chambers in 1948 and has four children: Nancy Lynn, Donald Edwin, Jr., Susan Laurene and Ross Lee. Member of Lutheran Church, Elks No. 290, Jr. Chamber of Commerce, Lions and Amvets. Past member Board of Directors of Lions; past president, past state vice-president, past national director of the Jr. Chamber of Commerce. Served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Allen Memorial Hospital. Insurance Underwriter for Monarch Life Insurance Company. Serving first term.
