Sioux City Woodbury County Republican. Born May 30, 1911, in Waukegan, Ill. Son of Lauritz F. and M. Marie Andersen. B.A., Huron College, Huron, S.D., 1933; M.A. University of South Dakota, 1937; one year law school, Univ. of S.D. Married Charlotte O. Ritland and has four children, Karen, Charlene, Paul and Mark. Member of Lutheran Church, Hi 12, Lions, Masons, Independent Insurance Agents Assoc. Life Underwriters Assoc. and A.S.-P.A. Head of Business Training Dept. at Waldorf College, 1935-39, economics teacher, Morningside College 1942-43, presently in real estate investment and insurance business. Member Board of Regents. Augustana College, Sioux Falls, S.D. Listed in Who's Who of the Midwest. Member Board of Siouxland Opportunity Corporation. Was State Representative from Woodbury County 1961-65 and reelected 1966.
