Graduated from The American University with a B.A. degree in public administration. Elected to Pi Sigma Alpha scholastic honorary fraternity. Unmarried. Member of Jay Cees, NAACP, Iowa State Cyclone Club, St. Timothy's Methodist Church of Cedar Falls. Presently national committeeman of the Young Democrat Clubs of Iowa. Formerly attached to the staff of Congressman Merwin Coad. First term.
