Parents of seven children: Donald J., Robert E., Marjorie J. Slaybaugh, Paul V., Mary E. Joyce, Betty J. Parks, and Patricia A. Brubaker. Thirteen grandchildren. Sons in World War II and Korean Conflict. Farming 1921-1946; specialty Purebred Durocs. Active in church, fraternal and civic organizations. Member Methodist Church, 32nd degree Mason, Za-Ga-Zig Temple, American Legion, Veterans of World War I, Inc., I.O.O.F., O.E.S., Rebekahs, Lions, Izaak Walton, Farm Bureau.
