Parents of seven children, Donald J., Robert E., Marjorie J. Slaybaugh, Paul V., Mary E. Joyce, Betty J. Parks, and Patricia A. Brubaker. Ten grandchildren. Sons in World War II and Korean conflict. Farming 1921-1946; specialty, Purebred Durocs. Active in many community and civic organizations. Employee, Farm Bureau and associated companies for five years, also an instructor G.I. on-the-farm training class. Member Methodist church, 32nd degree Mason, American Legion, I.O.O.F, O.E.S., Rebekahs, Lions, Izaak Walton, Farm Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. Present interests, Insurance, Justice of the Peace, and Purebred Durocs. Serving second term.
