Attended and graduated from Muscatine high school in 1922 and the State University of Iowa in 1926 with a B.A. degree. Elected to honorary fraternity Phi Beta Kappa. Married Lawrence A. Falvey, who served in the 55th, 56th and 57th regular General Assemblies, and who died July 23, 1957. Managing partner of Falvey Bros. lumber yard and Falvey Bros. farm. Director of First Iowa State Bank. A member of St. Mary's Catholic church, B.P.W., Albia Women's Club, Albia Library trustee, American Legion Auxiliary, Monroe County Farm Bureau, Cancer Society, Polio Foundation and Red Cross. Serving first term.
