Albia, Monroe County Democrat. Born in Muscatine County, Muscatine, Iowa, March 19, 1904, the daughter of Andrew and Anna Mull. Attended and graduated from Muscatine High School in 1922 and the State University of Iowa in 1926 with a B.A. degree. Elected to honorary fraternity Phi Beta Kappa. Married Lawrence A. Falvey, who served in the 55th, 56th and 57th regular General Assemblies, and who died July 23, 1957. Managing partner of Falvey Bros. farm. Vice-president and director of First Iowa State Bank. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Business and Professional Women, Albia Women's Club, Albia Library trustees, American Legion Auxiliary, Monroe County Farm Bureau, Cancer Society, Polio Foundation, Red Cross, Council of Inter-State Cooperation, Zeta Tau Alpha, Pi Lambda Theta, honorary educational sorority, and a state trustee of Arthritis and Rheumatism Foundation. Appointed to 1961-62 term of the Iowa Development Commission. Serving third term.
