Bedford Taylor County Republican Born in Clay county at Royal, Iowa, June 30, 1902, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Nicholson. Educated in the Nodaway county schools of Missouri. Married Pauline Coleman in 1924. They have five children: One daughter, Rhoda, and four sons, Hobart, Robert, Roger and Richard. Farmed for twenty-seven years; one son now operates the farms. Member of the Methodist church, County Board of Education for ten years, chairman for five years; Conference Board, and was on Board for handicapped children for Taylor and Adams counties. Director of a bank. Was director of Farm Bureau and 4-H leader for ten years. Serving third term.
