Mystic Republican 3rd Senatorial District Appanoose and Davis Counties. Born in Detroit, Michigan, June 12, 1920. Moved to Centerville, Iowa, with his parents the following year. Graduated from Mystic high school. Married Gracie Mae Frost, has two children, Billy and Sally. Member of Kaaba Temple and Zarephath consistory of Davenport, Iowa; Masonic lodge at Mystic, Iowa; Ottumwa Shrine club; Lions club; and Fraternal Order of Former president of Mystic independent board of education, and present member or Appanoose county board of education. Engaged in appliance, heating, and L. P. gas businesses in Mystic and Centerville. Member of Mystic Methodist church. Former chairman of Young Republican organization of Appanoose county. Serving fourth session in the state legislature.
