Bedford Taylor County Republican Born in Clay County at Royal, Iowa, June 30, 1902, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Nicholson. Received his education in the public schools in Nodaway, Missouri. Married Pauline Coleman in 1924. Have one daughter, Rhoda, and four sons, Hobart, Robert, Roger and Richard. Farmed for twenty-seven years; one son now operates the farms. Member of the Methodist church, county board of education for eight years, chairman for five years, conference board, and was on board for handicapped children for Taylor and Adams counties. Was director of Farm Bureau, and 4-H leader for seven years. Serving second term.
