Two sons, Elliott L., born 1942, and John C, born 1946. County attorney of Franklin county, 1946-50. Member of Congregational church; Masonic lodge; Delta Theta Phi fraternity; Farm Bureau; Chamber of Commerce; American Legion; V. F. W.; American, Iowa, and Franklin County Bar Associations; and American Judicature Society. Serving first term.
