Davenport Republican 21st Senatorial District Scott County. Born at Moline, Illinois, graduated from Moline high school and Minneapolis Business College. Attended University of Minnesota. Married Hilda C. Reimers in 1911. City treasurer, Moline, Illinois 1910-11. Was manager and part owner of Federal Bakeries of Omaha from 1920-28. Served as general manager of apartment properties for the United Realties Inc. of Washington, D. C. for a number of years. In real estate business since 1936. Member Masonic bodies, Elks and Lutheran church. Served three terms in House, the 50th, 51st and 52nd sessions. First term in Senate.
