Bedford Taylor County Republican Born in Clay county at Royal, Iowa, June 30, 1902, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Nicholson. Received his education in the public schools in Nodaway, Iowa. Married Pauline Coleman in 1924. Have one daughter, Rhoda, and four sons; Hobart, Robert, Roger, and Richard. Farmed for twenty-five years; two sons now operate the farms. Member of the Methodist church; county Board of Education for six years, chairman for three years; board for handicapped children for Taylor and Adams counties. Was director of Farm Bureau, and 4-H leader for seven years. Serving first term.
