Attended Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, Pa., and later received the degree of Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois and Bachelor of Law at George Washington University. Is now a practicing attorney at Burlington. Is also a member of the Masonic lodge, Elks club, Zeta Psi fraternity, and Episcopal church. Married, father of one daughter, Caroline. Serving second term in the senate.
