Walcott Scott County Democrat. Born February 11, 1896, on the farm he now owns and operates. An only son of Louis and Cecelia Dietz, pioneer Scott county residents. Married to Lillian Sinksen; father of five daughters and one son: Lorraine, Lois, Darlene, Dona Mae, Joyce and Leon. A breeder of purebred Milking Shorthorn cattle. A member of Walcott K. of P. lodge, Davenport Eagles and Elks. Was president of the Scott County Farm Bureau in 1934 and 1935 and served as president of the Walcott District Institute. Second term as representative.
