Walcott Scott County Democrat Born Feb. 11, 1896, son of Louis and Cecelia Dietz, in Walcott, Iowa. Married Lillian in 1924 in Davenport. Children are Lorraine, Lois, Darlene, Dona, Joyce, and Leon. Retired farmer and claims adjustor. Farmed for 30 years. Claims adjustor for Farm Bureau Mutual Ins. Co. 13 years. Member Iowa Farm Bureau, 18-man Trade Mission to Japan in September, 1963. Member of Walcott Community Club, Walcott Businessmen's Club, Quad City Adjustors' Association, Farm Bureau, Walcott Knights of Pythias, Davenport Elks, Davenport Moose. Scott County state representative 3 terms 1937 to 1942 inclusive. Chairman Scott County Board of Supervisors 1965 and 1966. Serving first term.
