Tama County Republican. Born at Tama, Iowa, March 7, 1908, the only son of James J. and Josephine (Drinovsky) Dvorak. Was graduated from Toledo high school in 1925; attended State University of Iowa, receiving B.A. degree in 1929 and J. D. degree in 1931. Practiced law at Tama since 1931. Served as Tama county attorney from 1933 until January, 1939. Member United Brethren church, Masonic lodge, International Typographical Union, Phi Alpha Delta, Delta Chi, and Phi Beta Kappa fraternities. Married to Mary Ebersole of Toledo, Iowa; father of one son, David Dee. Serving first term in the legislature.
