Representative from Scott county, was born February 11, 1896, on the farm he now owns and operates. He is the only son of Louis and Cecelia Dietz, pioneer Scott county residents. He is married and has five daughters and one son: Lorraine, Lois, Darlene, Dona Mae, Joyce and Leon. In addition to his farming activities he is a breeder of pure bred Milking Shorthorn cattle. He is a member of Walcott K. of P. lodge and Davenport Eagles. Was president of the Scott County Farm Bureau in 1934 and 1935 and served as president of the Walcott District Institute. First term as representative. A democrat.
