Representative from Clinton county, Iowa, was born November 28, 1884, on a farm in Olive township, Clinton county, Iowa, and has always lived on a farm. His father, N. O. Olson, and mother, and five brothers and five sisters are also living on farms in Olive township near Calamus, Iowa. He received his education in the rural schools, took special work at Iowa state college, has been an officer of the Clinton County Farmers institute seven years, two of the years served as president of the same. He is a member of the Norwegian Lutheran church. Was elected representative in 1920, also re-elected in 1922. A republican in politics.
